As someone who's parent was a loud and proud Gryffindor, it was a bit of a shock - to him anyways - for me to be sorted into Ravenclaw. It was because of my inner conflict between wanting to be in the same house as my dad and wanting to find my own house that nearly caused me to be a hatstall, but, in the end, the hat did its thing and placed me right where I belong. I think that one of my favourite classes at Hogwarts would have to be Astronomy. It's really cool to see what else exists beyond our planet. My least favourite class would probably be herbology, mainly because I'm horrid at it, (I can't even keep a regular muggle house plant alive!). I'm a half-blood, my dad is a halfblood and my mum was a muggle. When I leave Hogwarts, I hope to become some sort of healer at St. Mungo's. I want to be able to use magic to help everyone, muggles too. If there's anything I've learned about the Wizarding World it's that they can be terribly selfish when it comes to muggles. The majority (mainly older aldults) don't care. While things may be changing regarding that topic, they're not changing fast enough and I hope to do something about it. My dad, Seamus Finnigan, met my mum just after they graduated school. Not too long after that, they got married and had me. From what I've heard my mum was loveliest person you could ever meet - beautiful both inside and out. Unfortunately, when I was two, my mum was diagnosed with cancer. She was very adamant on the fact that she wanted to heal by herself - no magic, so she ended up going through a bunch of muggle treatments. By the time she was supposed to be done, her condition had only worsened. She finally gave in to my dad's pleas and they took her to St Mungo's but by then it was too late. So it's just me and my dad now.
