What if Dumbledore never died?

I usually never cry, but I did when Dumbledore died. Although I would have felt like I'm in heaven and Harry would be the happiest person on the planet if Dumbledore didn't die, I still think it was necessary for him to die after reading Deathly Hallows. What's your opinion?
Snape had been ordered to kill Dumbledore if Draco failed, if even Snape had failed to do so, Snape wouldn't have gained Voldemort's confidence, probably Voldemort would have wanted Snape dead, in the meanwhile, Death Eaters would have made several attempts at killing Dumbledore during the year, which is just sad so i ask everyone this question Why would snape kill dumbledore? even though its up there its still really sad. WHY SNAPE WHY!!!???
If Professor Dumbledore didn't die he would have been the one to stop Voldemort with the Elder Wand and in the end he would have realized that Harry was a horcrux and to have him end Harry's life to kill off Voldemort is something that he would not have the heart to do. Dumbledore is a mentor to Harry and plays a huge part in his life. With Dumbledore having Snape murder him in order for Harry to defeat the Dark Lord really shows that even the Professors offered up there lives to save the wizarding world.
